Topic Submission: Writing a thoughtful, thorough term paper takes
time, something you won't have if you wait until the last minute to select
a topic. The purpose of this submission form and incentive is to encourage
you to select your topic early enough to have time to think and do your
research. |
| Choose your term paper topic by Monday,
November 15, 2004 at 1:00:00pm and we'll drop your lowest problem set
score when computing your semester grade. More specifically, we will replace
your lowest problem set score with the average of your other 9 problem
sets. To receive this bonus, you must write about the topic you enter here. If you decide that you don't like the topic after submitting it, you are free to switch but will not receive the bonus. Remember, as with any assignment, once you submit a topic, it's out of your hands and you cannot change it. The class home page includes links to term paper instructions and lists of sample topics and forbidden topics. Make sure to check that your topic is not on the forbidden list. Submission of your term paper topic here is optional but may help your grade by improving your overall homework average. You do not need our permission when selecting your term paper topic. |
